False Decking is used throughout the US Naval surface fleet for interior applications in both electronic (Group 1) and non-electronic (Group 2) spaces. MCI 70424 is a lightweight balsa core panel with a marble blue Lonmat XL wear surface material which can be easily cut using a CNC machine. This panel has an areal weight of 2.17 lb/ft2 and meets Military Performance Specification MIL-PRF-32664 without shock testing.
